Some movies make deinterlacer quit on "OK"

Postby esr1 » 14 Feb 2012, 13:04

Thanks for the great program! I've run into one little problem:
When I hit OK to start a deinterlacing job with certain movie files (that are as far as I can tell encoded exactly the same as others that do work) the program quits immediately. Here's a link to the smallest problem movie I could find so far:

Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

In v3.8 it indeed always crashes. This is a known bug, either in ClipWrap or in QuickTime. Seeking in an h264 movie sometimes crashes. Did you use ClipWrap to convert the movie to h264?

For now you can work around this by using export instead of direct output.
v3.8.1 will appear in a few days from now (=10 jan 2012).
