Question on Frame Size for Standards Conversion

Postby esr1 » 04 Jul 2012, 13:57

Hi! I need to convert 1080 50i HDV footage to NTSC. I used JES Deinterlacer standards conversion,converting to '1280 X 720 24p'. Looks great! However the frame size isn't 1280 X 720 -- it's 1248 X 702. I tried fixing with the 'use canvas' tab in output. I chose fit within 1280 X 720. Same result -- 1248 X 702.

When I convert to '1440 X 1080 30i' I end up with a 1888 X 1080 frame size.

Is it possible to fix?

Thanks!

I f you want neither input clip nor output clip just set clip = 0 in the input inspector and edge = 0 in the output pane.
No need for canvas.
