SCRIPTING DROPLET

Postby guscebru1979 » 07 Jul 2012, 12:49

Hi, first of all, thank's for this amazing app!

I'm scripting a simple droplet with applescript, for do a simple job with the drgged item.

This is the code:

Code: Select all
on open fitxer_tirat
   try
      tell application "JES Deinterlacer"
         open fitxer_tirat
make new project with data "Total 1"

      end tell
   end try

end open

Is there any trick to do the "make new project" to not ask to overwrite the source file?

In other words to silently force owerwrite the input file with the the result of the make.

Thank's for all!!

Sorry for my english.

No, there is an option to keep the same name, but I found it too dangerous to let you destroy the input file.
You can tell the Finder to delete the original if the try succeeds and change the name of the result file to that of the input.
