Exporting to ProRes 422 HQ after deinterlace

Hi Jes,

I’m a big big big fan of your software and used to use it to make live content suitable for DCP. I’d love to use it again in my new job occasionally but I have found that when I choose Export (direct) the option of Prores 422 HQ is greyed out, yet the source is a Prores 422 HQ and this is the codec I desperately need.

Am I missing something, is this option still available Jes?

Many thanks in advance for your help

It depends on whether you have this codec installed. It comes with Final Cut Pro.
If you have FCP and the codec is not found by my app we have a problem.
Can you export to Prores 422 HQ using QT Player 7 Pro?
