Telecine - Back to PAL

Postby MetalGuru72 » 26 May 2017, 15:12

I have a video clip of a movie trailer that is 29.976 and interlaced. It was originally from a PAL 25 fps master, but has been poorly converted. I'd like to take it back to PAL, but I'm having problems working out the cadence phase etc. Is there a simple way to do this?

Sorry for the late reaction.
It's been quiet here and family circumstances require my attention.
Anyways, the procedure for NTSC -> PAL inverse telecine is described in the Help. Just press the round purple button.
Finding the right initial phase and first phase jump is a bit awkward. I didn't spend the time and mental energy to make this automatic. After all this is a rare case of inverse telecine.
