tell 1080p from 1080i

An application to create, remove or edit image description extensions

tell 1080p from 1080i

Postby esr1 » 14 May 2011, 13:52

I've got a ProRes file that I know is 1080p 29.97.

Is any information in the file that indicates this? So I can tell
1080p from 1080i if I don't know in advance.

If it has a 'fiel' image description extension you can look at that.

You can add one with my application JES Extensifier.
Use the inspector to view some of the movie's metadata.

Thanks!
Apple's documentation is, at best, difficult to use. I didn't know
about the 'fiel' atom.
The files that I've been using have a 'fiel' with fields set to 1.
That solves my problem.
