Chanigng files in network folders

Postby Habsi12345 » 27 Jun 2014, 09:44

Hi there,

First off, thanks so much for this great tool!

I have a question. It seems that I can only change files using JES Extensifier when they are on a local hard drive. If they are on a network drive, nothing really happens with the file.

Any ideas? I'm very tempted to donate some money if this issue can be solved. :)

Best,
H

Must be a permissions issue.
Are you sure you have permission to change this movie file?
Can you edit and save a text file in the same folder?

Hi Jen,

Yes, I can change and write and delete in that folder. I've also tried different network folders in different parts of the network. Same result. The file does not get updated, despite JES extensifier says that it has updated it.

Does it work on your end?

Yes, it works here on my (minimal) local AFP network. However, I have a very old system on this disk.
Please use version 2.4.1 which I've just mailed to you and report any error messages.
